About me

My photography journey started in the 80s when I was a young kid; I had wanted to take photos during my class field trips. The first camera that I owned was a rectangular box-like 110 Camera. I wish I still had it and the photographs that I took, but they were lost throughout time.

In college, I picked up another camera, a Canon AE-1 Program, and started taking classes in black and white film photography. I learned the basics of developing film and printing my images, and truly enjoyed the chemical process and the look and feel of prints on paper. But a few years later, digital photography was introduced, and I've been shooting digital primarily since then.

I still have my AE-1 Program and would love to shoot more film on the days that my mood dictates. I like the idea of shooting a roll of film, and instead of developing it immediately, store it with nothing but a label of the date it was taken. And on a random day, months or maybe even years later, develop it and relive the memories of that day.
